Before you read the fees

Clear fees, agreed upfront

You'll know our professional fees before you instruct us. If your Home Office sponsor licence application requires additional work beyond the agreed scope, we'll explain what's involved, confirm any additional costs and obtain your approval before proceeding. No unexpected charges.

Immtell's professional fees are separate from the Home Office application fee, which is payable when your application is submitted. We do not mark up Home Office fees. Current rates are published on GOV.UK.

Market context.

Why Sponsor Licence Application Fees Vary

Sponsor licence application professional fees vary considerably between providers. Larger law firms often charge a premium for their established brand and overheads, while lower-cost providers may offer a more standardised service with less experienced oversight.

At Immtell, you get Big Four-level expertise without the Big Four price tag.

Our senior specialists bring experience from leading global professional services firms and the Home Office. You'll work directly with experienced advisers throughout your application, rather than meeting a senior specialist initially only for your case to be passed to junior staff.

We combine that experience with a tailored approach that goes beyond completing forms, identifying potential eligibility and compliance risks before your application is submitted.

£6,500–£12,000+ + VAT

Big firms / traditional law firms
Established brands with premium pricing
Higher overheads reflected in fees
Work often delegated to junior staff
Multiple layers of internal review
Paying partly for the firm's name

£2,000–£3,500 + VAT

Online platforms / budget providers
Standardised, form-led applications
Limited senior, experienced oversight
Less scrutiny of sponsor compliance readiness
Potential risks may go unidentified
Refusals can mean delays and additional costs

From £4,500 +VAT

A successful sponsor licence application requires more than completing forms and submitting documents. It requires a clear, well-evidenced case demonstrating your business's genuine need for sponsorship, its eligibility and its ability to meet ongoing compliance obligations.

In our experience, the difference between approval and refusal is rarely the form itself. It's how the application is prepared and presented.
Who handles your instruction.

Who Handles Your Instruction

When you instruct Immtell, your sponsor licence application is personally overseen by Gavin Webster, our Managing Director. From the initial assessment through to the Home Office decision, you'll deal directly with the senior specialist responsible for your application.

Gavin brings over 23 years of UK immigration experience, including more than 13 years working for the Home Office in immigration control, visa decision-making and compliance roles. He subsequently held senior positions at EY, PwC and Vialto Partners, managing major corporate immigration clients and overseeing teams handling approximately 6,500 visa applications annually.

This means you benefit from the experience of a former Home Office officer and Big Four senior immigration adviser, without paying Big Four fees or having your application passed down to junior caseworkers.

That experience informs how we assess your business, identify potential compliance risks and prepare a well-evidenced sponsor licence application.

Immtell is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), registration number F202200109. Our registration can be verified on the IAA register.

Cost factors.

What Moves the Fee Up or Down

Drives costs up
A newer or less-established business
More preparation may be required to demonstrate trading history, commercial substance and the genuine need for sponsorship.
Complex or layered corporate structure
Holding companies, group entities, or overseas parent organisations all require additional documentation.
Key Personnel eligibility questions
Where the proposed Authorising Officer or Level 1 User has eligibility complications, more analysis is needed before submission.
A prior Home Office refusal
Applications following a refusal require a different level of risk management and a more carefully constructed narrative.
Urgency
Instructions with compressed timelines require prioritisation and additional resource.
Keeps costs down
Choosing the appropriate application package
Our Application Support package starts at £4,500 + VAT for straightforward applications. We'll assess your circumstances and recommend the most appropriate level of support.
Clean and complete documentation on instruction
Businesses that provide well-organised corporate documents, trading records, and Key Personnel information require less back-and-forth during preparation.
Clear Key Personnel eligibility
Applications where the proposed Key Personnel meet the relevant eligibility requirements generally require less pre-submission analysis.
Getting it right the first time
A well-prepared application reduces the risk of avoidable refusals, additional costs and delays. Depending on the grounds for refusal, a cooling-off period may apply before a fresh application can be submitted.

The fee depends on the complexity of the overseas business structure, the evidence required and the UK expansion plans.

The UK Expansion Worker route allows eligible overseas businesses to establish a UK presence before they qualify for a Skilled Worker sponsor licence. Once the UK business meets the relevant requirements, we can advise on obtaining a Skilled Worker sponsor licence to support its longer-term recruitment needs.
